Sara Villanueva has 18 years of nursing experience. She graduated from STC in 2000 and brings experience from varied backgrounds including the hospital, rehab and home-health settings as well as working with the geriatric population. She recently joined as a Care Coordinator for the ACO.
David Hinojosa received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin in 1997. After graduation, he returned to the Rio Grande Valley and received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas – Pan American in 2000. David has dedicated his nursing career to serving the long-term care needs of the aged and disabled in his hometown of Roma and throughout Starr County. His healthcare experience includes 10 years as RN Case Manager/ Quality Assurance RN in the Community Based Alternatives (CBA) program, and most recently, as RN Service Coordinator in the STAR+PLUS Waiver (SPW) program for a Medicaid managed care organization.
Beatriz Vega brings 22 years of nursing experience to the RGVHA team. She received her LVN license from Valley Grande Institute in Weslaco, Texas in 1997.
After graduation, she began serving patients in the Mid Valley area. Her professional experience includes working with geriatric patients in both the hospital setting and Home Health. She continues her commitment to high quality health care and putting the needs of patients first.
