David Hinojosa received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin in 1997. After graduation, he returned to the Rio Grande Valley and received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas – Pan American in 2000. David has dedicated his nursing career to serving the long-term care needs of the aged and disabled in his hometown of Roma and throughout Starr County. His healthcare experience includes 10 years as RN Case Manager/ Quality Assurance RN in the Community Based Alternatives (CBA) program, and most recently, as RN Service Coordinator in the STAR+PLUS Waiver (SPW) program for a Medicaid managed care organization.
