Dr. Dona Cooper-Dockery

Dona E. Cooper-Dockery, M.D., P.A.

Dr. Cooper-Dockery is board certified in Internal medicine. She received her specialty training from New York Medical college Metropolitan hospital center in New York and her medical degree from the University Of Montemorelos Nuevo Leon Mexico, with an undergraduate degree from Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica West Indies. This broad range of experience and training allows Dr. Cooper-Dockery to treat a variety of medical conditions in the office, hospital and now in the comfort and convenience of the patient’s home.

Dr. Cooper-Dockery treats patients from adolescent, adult to elderly with a wide range of medical illness and in many different settings. She is extremely involved with the care of her patients, and devotes a complete personal attention to each of them, as well as in overseeing all processes that contribute to the care of her patients. She sets a collaborative atmosphere at her office where she leads and interacts with every member of her team to ensure all patients receive the utmost of medical care.

In addition of being a caring and pleasant doctor, she is a dynamic leader with strong grounded roots in the Rio Grande Valley since 1996; community that she has been serving in many ways. In 2005 Dr. Cooper co-founded Procantus Lyric Opera -a nonprofit organization that promotes the art of opera in south Texas, where she currently serves as Vice-President of Finance.

Her leadership has awarded a Who is Who appearance during 2004.
